The first weekend of May I was one of the speakers at the Networking Christian Women's Conference in Rapid City, as the guest of Willis and Joan Duininck. I had such a good time meeting this wonderful family and ministering to the precious ladies at the yearly conference.
Then, as a special treat, at the conclusion of the conference, a few of us drove a half hour and got to see Mt. Rushmore! It was my first time ever -- I had always wanted to see it, and I wasn't disappointed - what a magnificent landmark!
It was almost dusk when we reached Mt. Rushmore - not the best lighting for pictures with the sun almost behind the mountain, but you can just make out the majestic faces behind me.
